Good work isn't always painstakingly crafted and highly polished. Sometimes a piece needs to be built quickly, cheaply, but good. These pieces are conceived with functionality and economy in mind. The raw materials are often things considered more coarse: weathered fence pickets, antique barn siding, construction grade plywoods and beams. With careful design and good workmanship, they are made quickly, but well. They are beautiful pieces, often showing the raw materials they are made from in a new light.
